What’s a “Vegan” and how do I become one? Certified Diabetic Educator and Nurse Practitioner Veronica Boley will describe the journey she and her husband have taken as they altered their eating choices, and the positive health benefits that have resulted. Practical tips for cooking vegan will be included.
Topics of discussion include: benefits of a vegan diet, basic staples for easy vegan recipes, tools to make vegan cooking easy, and weekend meal preparation.
