Do you need volunteer hours for high school/college organizations or scholarships?
The Laurel County Public Library offers a student volunteer program. The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for teens 16 and up and college students to gain required community service hours.
There are a variety of tasks volunteers may be asked to complete such as shelving, shelf reading, book shifting, completing displays, and program preparation and assistance.
If becoming a student volunteer sounds like something you’re interested in and would like to learn more about the program, call Susan at (606) 864-5759 or email sfawbush@laurellibrary.org.
